La gran mayoría de la preparación de estas esencias se realizó en el levante español (Alginet, Valencia y sus alrededores). Y unas pocas en el sur de España (La Luisiana, Sevilla).
En su preparación se utilizó sobretodo el método solar siguiendo las indicaciones del Dr. Edward Bach
